Procedure for replacing the stabilizer bar links on the front axle for Audi A3 8P-8PA 118d 2.0 d 16V 143cv 2003-2012

Remove the wheel stud covers using the pliers provided for this purpose.

To secure the vehicle, click on the link below: Securing the vehicle: removing and refitting the wheel

Take advantage of the fact that the car is on the ground to slightly loosen the wheel studs.

Raise the car using a jack and then finish loosening the wheel studs.

Place the vehicle on a jack stand and remove the wheel.

Before starting the disassembly procedure, repeat the operation for the other side, so that the stabilizer bar is not supported.

Use the flat wrench and torx screwdriver to loosen the bottom nut.

Repeat the operation to loosen the upper nut located on the strut.

The stabilizer bar link is ready to be removed to position the new one

Position the new stabilizer bar link.

Apply thread lock to the threads.

Start by tightening the top nut on the shock absorber strut.

Then tighten the bottom nut.
-

ouais, impossible a défaire,j’ai blindé de degripant, et ma M6 a même commencé à se tordre, mais ça n’a pas bougé d’un poil…même avec le pétard ça se desserre pas un minimum du frein filet d’origine que Audi a mis…. la vrai galère. :(
