  1. Start by removing the wheel and lifting the vehicle Lift/block the vehicle using the chassis and not the bridge

    • Unscrew the 2 shock absorber fixing nuts (upper and lower)

    • Lightly compress the shock absorber by hand to extract it.

    • If manual compression is too difficult, raise the bridge slightly using the jack

  2. Check that both shock absorbers are identical I opted for a vehicle lift, the shock absorbers are therefore slightly larger but the fixings and installation remain identical compared to a standard installation.

    • Place the first cup and the silent block at each end of the shock absorber, as shown on the old shock absorber.

  3. Place the shock absorber in its upper housing and secure it by replacing the 2 cups and the silent block (Cup / silent block / cup / nut).   4. Remove the metal flange Guide the shock absorber in its extension towards the hole provided in the bridge Place the 2 cups and the silent block (cup / silent block / cup / nut) then fully tighten the nut
    • Remove the metal flange

    • Finish tightening the top nut

    • Reassemble the wheel and place the vehicle back on the ground
