Introduction
This tutorial helps you to change the brake discs and pads on Ford Fiesta 5 fusion

Take off les plaquettes of the disk
-
Unscrew the 2 screws using a ratchet and a #13 socket.

Remove the stirrup and attach it l'étrier to the shock absorber with a wire

Remove the disc

Check the correspondence between the old and new disk

Clean le disque with brake cleaner and un chiffon then reposition the disk

Reposition the caliper

Apply thread lock to the 2 caliper screws

Tighten the two caliper screws

Remove the clips on the caliper

Remove the 2 caps then using the'une clé Allen unscrew the 2 screws

Remove the upper part of the caliper

Remove the pad attached to the piston
-

Attach the stirrup to the wire
-
Remove the second plate
-
Check the correspondence between the old and new pads
-

Push the piston back as far as it will go
-
Replace the first brake pad on le piston
-
Install the second plate
-

Reposition the caliper and tighten the 2 screws
-
Reposition the screw caps
-
Put the spring back
-
Press the brake pedal so that the pads can stick to the disc.

useful precision:
the size of the allen key needed to remove the upper part of the caliper to change the pads is 7, not standard and often not supplied in allen key sets;
remember to check that you have one before disassembling.

I recommend having a syringe and a container to remove liquid from the jar when pushing the pistons back (with a clamp + wooden wedge) otherwise it will overflow.

Before pushing the piston back, I advise you to open the brake fluid reservoir to make it easier to push.
Be careful, however, to check the liquid level before and after the operation.

Great tutorial. A small detail: the discs in the photo are protected with anti-rust paint. The first brakes will make noise. A little blow with sandpaper to avoid a customer return dissatisfied me. Otherwise it is super well explained
