Good morning,

I solved my problem in the following way.

I think it depends on your car model. But you had to do the purge manipulation with Vcds (see: https://www.vag-perf.fr/vagcom/tutoriel-... ) you can clearly hear the pump working...

Also before I erased the calculator faults but not sure if it is essential.

Then you have to start but hold the key firmly and insist on turning the starter until the engine starts. I didn't dare pull the starter too much at first for fear of wearing out the battery with all my previous attempts but it was necessary to put the fuel back into the circuits I suppose

Thank you, that helped me a lot, I did as you said and it worked.

For info I just ran a VAG diagnostic and I found the two fault codes:

5227 - injection/fuel system pressure

5523 - Engine computer blocked

Good morning,

Very good tutorial thank you. On the other hand I encountered the same problem as Vincent. Has anyone found the solution?

I turned the keys as instructed and then started the engine which ran for 30 seconds then stalled. Since then no start. The diesel is no longer coming I think.

I also tried the vcds procedure described here https://www.vag-perf.fr/vagcom/tutoriel-... but still nothing.. :-(

I am desperate..

I have an Audi A3 2.0.TDI 170hp from 2011.

Thank you for your help

Hello, to re-prime the filter, it is very simple, it is done automatically, that is to say, make three or more turns of the key without starting, of course, while the filter fills up and the air evacuates. Good mechanics to all and very good tutorial.
