Introduction
This tutorial shows you how to replace the camshaft position sensor on a 2009 Ford Fiesta VI 1.4 TDCi.

The camshaft position sensor is located on the right side of the cylinder head cover.

Using a flat screwdriver, press the tab on the plastic clip then pull the connector backwards.

Using a T30 Torx wrench, unscrew the screw that holds the sensor to the cylinder head cover.

Retrieve the screw, being careful not to drop it.

Check that the new sensor matches the old one both in terms of its attachment and the electrical connector.

Clean the sensor location with a cloth.

Position the sensor on the cylinder head cover and insert it correctly.

Insert the screw by hand and tighten it with the torx key.

Reconnect the connector, making sure to clip it securely.
