Introduction
The model presented is a Renault Clio II Phase 2 - 2.0 i Sport 16V 172cv
Replacing the cabin air filter, or pollen filter, is a basic maintenance task that is easy to do yourself with a minimum of tools. It is recommended to replace it every year. This helps prevent, among other things:
- bad odors in the passenger compartment,
- fogging in the passenger compartment,
- the spread of respiratory diseases.

Open the engine hood to access the passenger side windshield bay

Push the center of the fastener

Pry with a flat screwdriver

Pinch the fastener firmly and pull vertically

Remove the windshield bay

View Filter Cache

Unscrew the screw with a 6mm wrench

Pull the end of the filter cover vertically

-
Insert the new filter, compressing it slightly to facilitate its insertion

Observe the assembly direction: inscription upwards and arrow in the direction of traffic

Close the filter cover

Put the windshield bay back in position

Put the staple without the rod into the hole

Add the rod on top to lock it in position
