Once your open hood, you will find the cabin filter cover in under the windshield wipers And above the air box.

You will have to unclip the plastic cover to help a small flat-blade screwdriver or plastic utensil, start at the bottom of the plastic.

On the plastic cover you have 4 clips which is located on the bottom of the plastic.

You now have a metal bar that protects the cabin filter, use a screwdriver with a Torx 20 bit For to be able to unscrew them completely.

Think about put the screws in a jar For don't lose them because they are small.

Your air filter is in the accommodation, you simply have to remove it and then put the new one in its place respecting its meaning.

Once the cabin filter changed, put it back cabin filter protection bar.

You can now screw back in with the 2 small screws with a Torx 20 screwdriver without squeezing too hard, to do not damage the screw thread.

You can now replace the cabin filter cover, you will simply need to put from the top first.

Then press hard on the down for the clips to snap into place.

If it is a 1st generation vito it is located in the passenger compartment behind the central console under the dashboard...

It's quite tedious to have done it…

I have a vito and I don't have access to this place for the cabin filter. I heard that there is another access on the glove box side.
