Changing the cabin filter on a Mazda 6

Open the glove box

Push inwards to unclip the right glove box clip (see photo 2 and 3)

Push inside to unclip the left glove box clip.

Once the clips are unclipped, leave the glove box in the low position and remove the lower clip from its housing.

To do this, push the clip inwards (direction in the photo)

This gives you access to the assembly behind the glove box.

Remove the cover providing access to the cabin filter by pulling the upper part of the cover towards you.

Pull the filter out.

Change your old filter with your new cabin filter.

Place the new filter following the direction of "air flow" with the arrows pointing down.

Then replace the cover.

To replace the glove box, place the two glove box clips opposite the holes, and push them back in.

Do the reverse operation to just now, pushing the clip towards you to insert it into its housing.

Push your glove box upwards as if to close it.
