This tutorial allows you to change the cabin filter of a Honda Civic VIII 2.2 i-CDTi 16V 140hp

The cabin filter is located in a compartment behind the center console. Access to it is from the passenger side at the location indicated by the red circles in the photos

Pull the bottom panel of the storage compartment downwards at the locations indicated by the red arrows.

The clips are not very hard and do not normally require pliers to extract the panel.

Be careful to shoot close to them so as not to break them.

Pull the lever circled in red towards you to open the door of the compartment containing the filter.

Pull the filter towards you to remove it from its compartment.

Be careful to note the direction of this when dismantling.

Remove dead leaves and dirt from inside the compartment before installing the new filter.

To enter le nouveau filtre d'habitacle in the compartment you can deform it very slightly as indicated by the red arrows.

Then push it to the bottom of the compartment.

Initially insert the bottom of the door into its lug.

Push the upper part behind the lever to lock the door
