Introduction
In this tutorial I will show you the steps to replace the cabin filter on a Renault Megane 4 1.5 dCi 110cv
Tools
Parts
-
-
For the complete operation, only a T20 torx key will be needed
-
Be careful, because of the restricted space, a screwdriver will have difficulty entering
-
-
-
For this step, you will need to unclip the cover located at ground level on the left passenger side.
-
-
-
For this stage, visibility is not optimal -
Using a T20 Torx key, unscrew the screw circled in yellow and remove the cover
-
The cover once removed
-
We can finally see the filter in its housing
-
-
-
Remove the filter from its location
-
Compare the dimensions of the two filters
-
Pay careful attention to the direction of the arrow when reassembling.
-
-
-
Clean the filter housing and cover with a cloth.
-
Insert the new filter into the housing.
-
Replace the cover and screw it in.
-
-
-
After screwing the filter cover, start the car and turn on the ventilation.
-
Check that the cover is properly installed and that there is no parasitic air flow.
-
If everything is correct, reinstall the plastic cover removed in step 2.
