Change the two Parts of the Partner cabin filter price 1.6 e-HDi FAP S&S 92 cv

We remove the protection under the glove box, held by 3 plastic “screws” in 2 pieces (numbers 1,2,3 in photo 2).
-
First, you have to pull the rectangular part of the head 5 mm to be able to extract the “screw”.
-
See screw details in photo 3. You must then move the plate back and forth, delicately, to release the clips.
-
-
-
The glove box is held by 8 torx screws: 4 at the top, 3 underneath, and 1 inside. No problem. Then, I had to use the flat screwdriver to pry on the sides and release the box, delicately again so as not to damage the trim. Marks 4,5,6 on photo 2 and marks 7,8,9,10,11 on photo 4
Warning: screw 11 has a metric thread compared to all the other screws and is shorter. In any case, that's how it is on my 2017 Partner, and there were no 3 plastic screws (1, 2 and 3): maybe they were forgotten. Otherwise, thanks for this tutorial.

Another torx screw, still with the same tip, for the side plastic cover, which this time must be gently pulled towards you (towards the rear of the vehicle). Be careful with this hook which must be put back in place when reassembling! Photos 5, 6 and 7

We then have access to a white plastic elbow air duct. We must use our finger to lever it on the left side to unclip it. Photos 8 and 9

And behind, we see the black cover of the cabin filter, with a small lever at the bottom. Very fragile, I broke mine. If you can do it without breaking it, send me a message, I'll feel like I've been useful... Photo 10
J'ai délicatement dégagé l'encoche à l'arrière du petit levier. Et après la protection se retire facilement.
Succeeded without breaking mine thanks to your advice thank you very much

All that remains is to remove the 2 filters. A figure of speech because it is this difficulty that forced me to disassemble the glove box. With the flat pliers, we pull the tab of the upper filter and it comes out easily. Then we have to work the lower one with the screwdriver to make it go back up in place of the previous one, and take it out.

We put the new filters back on, with the tab facing upwards. We put the first one on, then lower it using the screwdriver. Then the second one without any problem. And the black cover. The plastic cover (be careful with the hook: see photos 6 and 7 again). And the rest... in the reverse order of disassembly. Good luck!

Very interesting, it saves you having to search because it's not always obvious. On the Partner it's not really accessible but still better than on a 5008, having already done it. On my Tepee outdoor from late 2017, the glove box is slightly different but so little, you can find your way around, In addition to the instructions given, I disconnected the probe from the white plastic elbow for more clearance. To remove and replace the cartridges, no problem, I removed the original Denso ones to replace the Valéo ones. I used small bent-nose pliers and everything came out the first time, same for placing the new ones.
Hello, the tube is the cooling hose of the glove box (which goes from the white plastic part on the left and which fits on the hole of the glove box) to keep the water cool etc ... not easy to put back without it falling off every time. I put a small clamp at the exit of the glove box and everything is ok.
Good reassembly…
Christophe
the black tube is used to bring cold air to the glove box (refrigerated glove box) the tube is just pushed in at its 2 ends, and it must not be dropped when repositioning the glove box. it seems to me that it can be refitted once the glove box is reattached
Thank you and congratulations for this tutorial.
I had no trouble removing and replacing the filters and did not break the tab on the black cover.
thanks again
Thanks Georges, even though the video is more explicit than the photo, your tutorial is enough to get by.
Very well explained at the top
The small black pipe is connected to the glove box (closable hatch at the bottom of the glove box) to cool it on one side and on the other side towards the small orange cap on the photo of the tutorial which is no longer necessary. On the other hand, big problem to make it stay in place. Nothing is provided for it to hold, no clips, no notch, nothing ... big moment of solitude.
It's done! I replaced the cabin filters. They slipped on by themselves and I undid the little black cover and put it back on by hand without difficulty. Two comments: once the 3 lower screws of the glove box are removed, you just have to open the cover a little and pull it towards you so that it comes off. Once the 8 screws for removing the glove box are removed, you have to remove it starting from the bottom (screwdriver like Georges in his tutorial or a gentler method without tools). It doesn't come off by itself because it is clipped. Thanks to Georges for his tutorial, I could have searched for a long time to find out where this f... filter is!
Impeccable for replacing the filters but when dismantling the glove box a black tube fell at the same time, at the time of reassembly impossible to see where this tube is going. Any idea??
Hello
very good tutorial, very explicit, for disassembly and for reassembly up to...the last step
For my part, I had a lot of trouble putting on the second (upper) filter. It barely stuck in the first few centimeters.
Then the filter ends up bending and there it becomes almost impossible. Indeed the felt part on the edge of the upper filter rubs on that of the lower filter. The solution I found is to insert between the 2 filters a strip of aluminum foil the width of the filter (folded several times for more rigidity). This strip is previously oiled on the upper part and it protrudes a few cm to be able to remove it once the 2nd filter is put on. Thanks to that I almost succeeded. I am not certain despite everything that my filter is installed perfectly because of all the previous manipulations (it was bent). But if we apply the method at the beginning it should work perfectly
Very good description of all the steps! Easy to navigate.
really great!!
THANKS !

Once the protection under the glove box has been removed, there is no need to disassemble the glove box. You just have to grab the filters because they are very flexible and bend them as you take them out. To put the new filters back in, do the same thing.
