Introduction

Change the two Parts of the Partner cabin filter price 1.6 e-HDi FAP S&S 92 cv

We remove the protection under the glove box, held by 3 plastic “screws” in 2 pieces (numbers 1,2,3 in photo 2).

First, you have to pull the rectangular part of the head 5 mm to be able to extract the “screw”.

    • See screw details in photo 3. You must then move the plate back and forth, delicately, to release the clips.

  2.
The glove box is held by 8 torx screws: 4 at the top, 3 underneath, and 1 inside. No problem. Then, I had to use the flat screwdriver to pry on the sides and release the box, delicately again so as not to damage the trim. Marks 4,5,6 on photo 2 and marks 7,8,9,10,11 on photo 4

Another torx screw, still with the same tip, for the side plastic cover, which this time must be gently pulled towards you (towards the rear of the vehicle). Be careful with this hook which must be put back in place when reassembling! Photos 5, 6 and 7

We then have access to a white plastic elbow air duct. We must use our finger to lever it on the left side to unclip it. Photos 8 and 9

And behind, we see the black cover of the cabin filter, with a small lever at the bottom. Very fragile, I broke mine. If you can do it without breaking it, send me a message, I'll feel like I've been useful... Photo 10

All that remains is to remove the 2 filters. A figure of speech because it is this difficulty that forced me to disassemble the glove box. With the flat pliers, we pull the tab of the upper filter and it comes out easily. Then we have to work the lower one with the screwdriver to make it go back up in place of the previous one, and take it out.

    • We put the new filters back on, with the tab facing upwards. We put the first one on, then lower it using the screwdriver. Then the second one without any problem. And the black cover. The plastic cover (be careful with the hook: see photos 6 and 7 again). And the rest... in the reverse order of disassembly. Good luck!

It's the same way of disassembling a 2019 Peugeot rifter or not, thank you.

Very interesting, it saves you having to search because it's not always obvious. On the Partner it's not really accessible but still better than on a 5008, having already done it. On my Tepee outdoor from late 2017, the glove box is slightly different but so little, you can find your way around, In addition to the instructions given, I disconnected the probe from the white plastic elbow for more clearance. To remove and replace the cartridges, no problem, I removed the original Denso ones to replace the Valéo ones. I used small bent-nose pliers and everything came out the first time, same for placing the new ones.

Hello, the tube is the cooling hose of the glove box (which goes from the white plastic part on the left and which fits on the hole of the glove box) to keep the water cool etc ... not easy to put back without it falling off every time. I put a small clamp at the exit of the glove box and everything is ok.

Good reassembly…

the black tube is used to bring cold air to the glove box (refrigerated glove box) the tube is just pushed in at its 2 ends, and it must not be dropped when repositioning the glove box. it seems to me that it can be refitted once the glove box is reattached

Thank you and congratulations for this tutorial.

I had no trouble removing and replacing the filters and did not break the tab on the black cover.

thanks again
