Changing the cabin filter of a Kia Magentis

The glove box is located on the passenger side.

Open the glove box using the handle and empty it if necessary.

Remove the glove box by pressing inwards on the left and right sides.

The operation is easier using both hands directly.

The cabin filter is located behind the black plastic cover.

Remove the cabin filter cover by turning the screw indicated by the finger.

The cabin filter is made up of two elements: an upper element and a lower element.

Remove the upper element of the cabin filter by pulling it towards you.

Remove the lower element of the cabin filter by pulling it towards you.

The lower element needs to be lifted so that it can then be pulled towards you.

First, install the lower element of the cabin filter.

Then put in place the upper element of the cabin filter.

Pay attention to the direction of each element: they must fit together perfectly.

Replace the filter cover, remembering to lock it by turning the screw.

Replace the glove box by pressing inwards on the left and right sides.

Check that the left and right stops are properly clipped.

Close the glove compartment after putting any objects back inside.
