For this tutorial, you will first need to open your trunk, you will find a black plastic cover inside, you will need to unclip it by pulling it downwards.
-
Once the plastic cover is removed, unscrew the 2 nuts using a 10 socket wrench.
-
-
-
To access the bulb, you must carefully close your trunk then place the plastic removal tool or a small flat screwdriver on the right side at the end of the light then lever it up to unclip it completely and remove it from its housing.
-
Remember to go carefully so as not to break the plastic.
-
-
-
Now there are 3 clips on top of the brake light plastic, use a small flat head screwdriver to press the clips and pull towards you to separate the 2 parts of the third brake light.
-
-
-
The bulbs are now accessible, check the one that no longer works then change it by simply pulling on it and replacing a new bulb, respecting its direction.
-
The model of the bulbs are: 5W5.
-
When changing the bulbs, remember to switch off the ignition to avoid creating a short circuit when changing the bulbs.
-
Now remember to repeat the same steps in reverse, checking of course that all the bulbs work.

One Comment
clear tutorial. I was able to disassemble without (too many) problems
However before changing, I don't have any of the 3 lamps working.
Would there be a fuse assigned to this bar?
THANKS
