Before intervening, you must turn off the car's ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.

Open the engine hood, the battery is located on the driver's side.

Check that your new battery matches the one prescribed for the vehicle. Amperage and size (width/height) this is indicated in the car manual.

You need to loosen the two nuts with a 10 wrench to remove the battery retaining bar.

Be careful, there is an order to follow. You must first start by disconnecting the negative terminal (-) then the positive terminal (+) to avoid a short circuit.

You will need to remove the two battery terminals with a 10 wrench.

Remove the battery from its housing, batteries can be recycled at recycling centers or taken back by auto parts distributors.

Position the new battery in its housing.

Tighten the two nuts on the support bar

Now tighten in order first the positive terminal then the negative terminal.

When everything is tightened and put back in place you can turn the ignition back on while waiting a minute for the computer and other parts to update and then you can restart the engine.
