Hello, my car stalls when starting, could this be the cause? I have to prime the bulb to restart it, thank you.

Hello, I changed the flow meter on the advice of Peugeot and the switch to the suitcase, but the problem persists (no power + black smoke) should I reset something? Did the problem really come from the flow meter? Thank you

Good morning,

A diagnostic suitcase can reveal the symptoms by analyzing values, In your case the technician probably read a fault indicating that the values measured by the flow meter were not consistent with the other parameters of the injection system, Indeed a saturated air filter limits the air flow sucked in by the engine and also causes the same symptom, or a pneumatically controlled intake flap cannot be revealed by the suitcase but will also indicate an erroneous measurement of the flow meter, just like a pierced hose. In general there is no need to reset or erase a fault for the vehicle to function correctly, on the other hand it is advisable to erase the faults to empty the computer's memory and thus no longer reread its faults if necessary to recheck later.

We remain at your disposal for any additional information.

Yours sincerely,

The Oscaro Team
