'''This tutorial explains how to change the air filter on a Mercedes E-Class W12 (2009 - 2016).

Use a flat screwdriver and turn the screw a quarter turn. Lift the cover slightly then pull it towards you.

First, you need to unclip the gray connector pointed out. It is attached from below with a clip. Pass a small flat screwdriver underneath, and unclip while pushing the connector backwards.

Then you have to unclip the cables on each side of the calculator. There are 4 clips. Each connector is held by 2 plastic tabs that must be pushed simultaneously and pulling the clip upwards.

you have to unscrew the 7 torx screws that hold the cover. Be careful, some of them come off completely, so do not drop them to the bottom of the engine

There you have it: Remove the filter by lifting it slightly from the back and pulling it backwards (this can be a bit hard...). Clean the air box well (a vacuum cleaner), then install the new filter, taking care to lightly grease the seal, which will make it easier to position.

really not easy to change this filter ………….soon it will be necessary to disassemble the engine for a filter …………
