Changing the air filter on Volkswagen Touran II

Open the door and pull the crank located at the bottom left under the steering wheel

Open the hood

Remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards and then back.

the air filter is located in the air box

Unscrew all the screws around the air box

Pull the air box upwards to access the filter

Remove the air filter from its location

Compare the dimensions between the old and the new air filter (length, width, height)

Clean any impurities present in the air box using a cloth or a blower.

Reinstall the new air filter in the air box

Check that the filter is properly inserted into the box

Reposition the air box

Tighten all screws around the air box
