Changing the air filter on Volkswagen Golf IV - 1.9 TDI

Unscrew the 2 screws from the air filter box

Remove the plug

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air hose

Unclip the air filter cover without pulling on the hose

Remove the air filter

Blow the air into the air box

Check the correspondence between the new and l'ancien filtre à air (length, width)

Reinstall the new air filter

Replace the air box cover (4 notches)

Tighten the 2 air box screws

Reconnect the plug

Reattach the air hose and clamp
