Changing the air filter on Renault Megane 1

Open the engine hood and locate the air box: it contains le filtre à air

To begin, firmly hold the hose located at the rear and pull it until it comes loose.

Locate the 4 screws (crosshead) and unscrew them

Set the screws aside

Once all the screws are removed, and la durite disengaged, you can remove the air box cover

To do this, simply pull it upwards

You now have access to the air filter

To remove the filter, pull upwards

Once the filter is out, compare it with a new one to make sure they are the same.

Clean the air box

If so, you can put the new one in its slot

Replace the cover with its screws

Replace the hose

To ensure the hose is properly inserted, the notch should face the arrow

The operation is now complete
