Changing the air filter on Renault Megane 1

Unclip all the fasteners around the air box cover

Loosen the three screws on the air box cover (you can remove the screws but it is not necessary)

Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew and remove the last screw holding the cover in place.

Remove the cover by pulling upwards then extract the air filter from its location

Blow out the air box to clean out any impurities present in the air box.

Compare the old and the new air filter(dimensions)

Reposition the air filter in the air box

Reposition the air box cover

Tighten the screw using a Phillips screwdriver

Using a small click and a 10 socket, tighten the other three screws on the air box cover.

Reclip all the fasteners around the air box
