To be able to access the air filter on your Mercedes Vito, you will have to open your hood.

For that, open your driver's side door Then below the handle to remove the handbrake, you will find a red tab that you have to pull towards you.

Once your open hood, you will see on the top right in the middle a big plastic box marked Mercedes Benz, it's the air box.

To open it you will need to used a screwdriver with a Torx 20 bit, for that unscrew the 5 screws available on the side as well as on the front from the air box.

The screws remain on the air box because they do not do not come off and are fixed with it.

Once the 5 screws removed from the air box, carefully lift the hood by leveraging from the bottom of the box.

You can now see that the air filter is available, you can lift it up and pull it towards you to slide it off.

You can now take your new air filter to be able to put back in the air box.

For that, Carefully lift the air box Then slide the air filter in respecting its meaning And press it so that it is well placed at the bottom of the air box.

Once the air filter is replaced, you can pressed on the air box so that it clips.

You can then screwed the 5 screws available above with your screwdriver and a Torx 20 bit.

Do not tighten the screws too tightly, just tighten as needed because the screw thread is fragile.
