Introduction
Replacing the air filter on the 1.2L TSI 105 HP (CYVD) engine on the Beetle convertible from July 2015

Locate the air filter box the air filter is inside

Remove the hose from the check valve

Remove the spring clamp between the intake air duct and the air filter housing

Remove the spring clamp between the air guide duct and the air filter housing
-

-
Lift hard to separate the air filter housing from its support
-
Disconnect the intake air box from the air filter box
-
Disconnect the guide sheath from the air filter housing
-

-
Turn the air filter housing over and unscrew the 2 housing screws
-
Remove the air filter housing cover by pressing the 4 tabs
-

-
Remove the air filter
-
Clean, vacuum, blow the hood and air filter housing of foreign bodies and grease

Clean the 2 hoses of greasy substances
-
-
-
Install the new air filter
-
Replace the hood, making sure to clip the 4 tabs
-
Screw in the 2 screws
-
-
-
Connect the intake air duct and air guide ducts to the air filter housing
-
Attach the air filter to the engine by pushing it onto the 3 tabs
-
Replace the intake air duct clamp, taking care to place it in the groove
-
Replace the air guide collar, taking care to place it in the groove
-
Replace the non-return valve hose
-
Cancel: I did not complete this guide.

Be careful to check the air filter model before buying it, the image on this tutorial shows a filter that has nothing to do with the one recommended by oscaro on my vw beetle 2016 1.2 tsi vehicle

As indicated, this type of flat filter is recommended for versions of the Beetle with CYVD type engine.
But it is true that it is better to check before…
Thank you. Used to change the air filter of a Golf 7. I should point out that the air box is difficult to separate from the rest of the engine, even by pulling hard upwards ;)
