Changing the air filter on Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDI 150

Open the hood

Loosen the collar using a flathead screwdriver

Disconnect the air hose

Pull the white tab outwards to unlock the fastening system

While pressing the tab, pull the plug outwards to disconnect it.

Unscrew the six T25 screws

Remove the air filter cover

Remove the air filter

Clean the air filter unit using a vacuum cleaner and/or blower

BE CAREFUL THAT NOTHING ENTERS THE AIR INTAKE HOSE DURING CLEANING

Check that the old air filter matches the new air filter

Replace the new air filter into the air filter assembly

Replace the air filter covers

Screw in the six T25 screws

Insert the plug into the sensor

Then lock it by pushing the white tab to lock the system

DO NOT TURN ON THE IGNITION WHEN THE SENSOR IS DISCONNECTED

Replace the air hose

Tighten the collar using a flathead screwdriver
