Introduction
How to change the air filter of a Peugeot 207 petrol 1.4 90 hp

-
You will need to remove the engine cover and then unscrew the clamp that connects the air filter to the engine.
-
Then unclip the breather by pressing on the yellow part and pulling towards you.
-
-
-
Once the clamp is loosened and the breather disconnected, you will need to unscrew the housing where the air filter is located.
-
-
-
The case is held in place by 4 cross-head screws circled in red.
-
The top screws are difficult to access (especially the right screw next to the brake fluid reservoir)
-
A socket wrench or small screwdriver should do the trick.
-
Once the screws are unscrewed, you have to pull the box towards you, while sliding it to the right at the collar.
-
-
-
Once the housing is removed, you have access to the filter and simply replace it.
-
For the 207 petrol 1.4 90 hp, there are two types of filters provided: with or without pre-filter. Filters with pre-filter are higher than those without.
