Introduction

Air filter replacement on a T5 multivan 2.5l TDI 130hp 2007 (BNZ).

  1. 
Open the hood

Shift the hose clamp to the right using a pair of multi-grip pliers.

Disconnect the terminal from the throttle body. You have to push the terminal in, press behind it and pull the terminal to disconnect it.
    • Open the hood

    • Shift the hose clamp to the right using a pair of multi-grip pliers.

    • Disconnect the terminal from the throttle body. You have to push the terminal in, press behind it and pull the terminal to disconnect it.

    • Unclip the two clips on each side of the cover by lifting the plastic part to release the metal clip

    • lift the air box cover starting from the right (attachment side)

    • Remove the air box cover by pulling it to the right once lifted

    • Be careful with the throttle body when handling the cover

Remove the air filter

Clean the tank using an air compressor

Do not allow any dirt to enter the air hose on the right.
    • Remove the air filter

    • Clean the tank using an air compressor

    • Do not allow any dirt to enter the air hose on the right.

    • Place the new air filter

    • Put the cover back on

    • Check that the cover is properly closed on the left

    • Reconnect the connector to the throttle body

    • Replace the hose and the clamp

Conclusion

Nothing complicated. The exit of the cover can be difficult because it fits just in.

Don't hesitate to make some space by unscrewing the power steering reservoir, for example.
