How to change the air filter on a Peugeot 106 1.4i. Tutorial made on a 106 XSi 1.4 (TU3FJ2)

Loosen the air connector hose clamp at the rear of the air box with a flat screwdriver

Open the clip holding the air box cover

A second clip is present behind the air box, repeat the operation

Place a rag in the hose located at the bottom of the air box and at the entrance to the throttle body.

Using a blower, remove any residue present in the air box.

Fit the cover onto the throttle body inlet

Once the cover is correctly positioned, close the two clips of the air box.

Tighten the collar on the throttle body

Reconnect the air temperature sensor connector to the air box cover

Your air filter is changed, it is recommended to change it on average every 20,000km

    • You can maintain the plastic of the air box and other ducts using WD40 or Polytrol
