Introduction

Spark plugs should preferably be changed every 30,000 km as a preventative measure.

  1. 
disconnect the spark plug harness

clean the spark plug well with a blower (a can of computer air may possibly do the trick)

    • unscrew the spark plug using the 16mm spark plug socket and ratchet wrench and remove it

    • There are magnetic sockets that make it easier to remove and install spark plugs.

introduce the new spark plug and hand tighten using the 16mm extension and socket only

There should be no resistance at first. Do not insist if it is too hard or you may damage the thread.

finish tightening with a torque wrench, torque of 27 Nm

    • Put the beam back in place by pressing on it

    • a thin layer of dielectric grease can be applied to the ceramic part and the tip of the spark plug before reconnecting)

  4. 
proceed in the same way for the other 3 candles
