Introduction

A burnt out light? Don't wait and change the dipped beam bulb!

  1.
Start by lifting the hood. If it's the left light (driver's side), you'll have to remove a first plastic cover (2nd photo), right next to the fuse box. If it's the right light (passenger's side), you have more direct access to it.

A first connector must be disconnected (only for the left light). The red part must be lifted, then the plug can be disconnected.

To access the housing for the connectors specific to the dipped beam headlight, you must remove a plastic cover (identical for the right and left headlights)

It comes off quite easily, by pulling on it!

This is where things get tricky! It's very difficult to write, and even more difficult to photograph!

You will first have to pinch two metal parts, then press.

    • So you allow this metal part to tilt and be able to release the bulb freely.

Here we see that the filament inside the burnt out lamp is broken.

Compare the two bulbs. I bought a H1-H7 bulb set, which includes most of the bulbs you have in your 307.

    • Then proceed in reverse order:

    • Insert the bulb into the housing, tilt the metal part, pinch the two metal parts and then release the two parts.

    • This small device therefore keeps the base of the bulb under pressure.

    • Reconnect the connectors, then turn on the ignition, and check if your replacement was effective!

    thanks again

    not so complicated after all

hello ok thanks but I think we should do a tutorial on how to change a turn signal bulb on the driver's side because I think the difficulty is 10 and the duration is >15mn.

If there are any tips, I'm interested because when looking from the inside with the hood up, there is no access to the lamp.

It looks like you have to remove part of the bumper and wing????

and once we remove it, do we have to adjust the headlights again????

if that's the case, it's expensive to change the lamp...

thanks for the info

Problem I have the clip support that came with the bulb, I can no longer put it back in place. Thank you

Thank you, this tutorial is perfect, in 20 minutes I changed my two bulbs all by myself. The only difficulty is clipping the new bulb into its holder.

Hello, it unclips by itself… by forcing it a little… I didn't have any problems on that side, the problem being rather the restricted access…

Maybe you can use a flat screwdriver to remove the casing from its housing?
