It is necessary to disassemble the tail light to access and replace the bulbs.

To access the tail light we have to open the trunk.

Unscrew the 2 fixing screws of the light with a crosshead screwdriver.

You have to pull the tail light outwards to remove it.

2 lugs hold the light firmly in the body: 1 lug at the top and 1 lug at the bottom.

The easiest way is to use leverage. Use a unstapler tool plastic or a small flat screwdriver protected in a rag to avoid damaging the bodywork.

You can access all 3 media tail light bulbs.

Remove the power cables from the notches.

You have to unscrew each bulb holder 1/4 turn to remove it.

At this point you can replace the tail light with a new one, make sure it is the same model

The following steps show you how to reinstall the bulbs and reassemble your tail light.

To remove a bulb from its holder, you must press on it while turning it 1/4 turn.

Replace the defective bulb with a new one, checking its equivalence (model, power, etc.).

To replace the new bulb, push it into the holder and turn it until it stops.

Replace the holders with their new bulb in the light.
-
Turn the bracket 1/4 turn until it stops.

Replace the power cables in the slots.

Replace the tail light in its location.

Align the 2 lugs of the light in front of their housing in the bodywork.

Press to re-engage the tail light into its housing.

Replace the 2 rear light mounting screws.

Screw in the 2 screws with the crosshead screwdriver

You have replaced your bulbs and/or your tail light, this will avoid you being fined.
