Change the fuel filter on Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Hdi 106Cv

Unscrew and remove the 2 screws from the bracket and frame holding the fuel filter.

Blow it out to clean out any impurities.

Place a rag around the fuel filter to catch any fuel that leaks out.

Remove the two hoses by pinching each side of the clips.

Both hoses are removed.

Remove the fuel filter frame.

Remove the clips to release the hose connection on the fuel filter.

Remove the filter connection.

Loosen the filter strap screw.

Unhook the hose from the clip.

Remove the last hose.

Remove the fuel filter from its location.

Compare the old and the new fuel filter (dimensions, connections).

Recover the support from the old filter.

Replace the bracket on the new filter.

Remove the old fitting.

Insert the new filter into its housing.

Remove the caps from the new fitting.

Reconnect the 2 hoses (pushing them in until they click into place).

Reconnect only the lower hose (pushing it until it clicks into place).

Replace the filter frame.

Tighten the 2 frame nuts.

Reconnect the last two hoses.

Slowly and repeatedly press the primer pump until it becomes hard.

Check the tightness of each connection.

Start the engine without accelerating and press the priming pump several times to thoroughly expel the air from the fuel system.
