Here's how to quickly and easily replace the air filter on your Suzuki Swift 1.2 WWT

Pull the hood release flap located under the steering wheel to the left of the pedals to unlock the hood.

To open the hood, slide your fingers to the front middle under the hood and push up on the opening mechanism while lifting your hood.

To keep the car hood open, unhook the tab under the hood and place it in the slot provided.

The air box is located above the engine, in the center of the engine compartment.
-
It opens vertically on the side closest to the windshield.
-
-
-
No tools are required.
-
Unclip the fixing clip located at the top left of the air box.
-
Also unclip the clip on the right side to release the air box cover and access the air filter .

Push the cover to unclip it and open the air box.
-
You can remove the air filter from the box by pulling it out on the left side.
-
Use a blower to clean the air box.
-

Check the correspondence between the old and the new air filter (length, thickness, etc.)
-
The "down" label and the arrow on the new filter indicate the bottom of the air filter.
-

To avoid getting the wrong direction, place the air filter facing you so that the only "rectangular" corner is at the bottom left.
-
The side of the air filter with the large cells is the one that goes into the air box.
-
Lift the cover and insert the air filter into the box from the left.
-
Push the air filter all the way into its housing.
-

-
Close the air box, taking care to put the cover back in its housing at the bottom of the air box.
-
Snap the cover on so that the 2 plastic tabs on the cover clip onto the air box on each side.

Replace the 2 metal clips on the cover to properly close the air box.
