Introduction

This tutorial helps you to change the air filter on Renault Scenic 2 1.5DCI 106 CV

  1. 
Open the driver's side door

Pull the crank located under the steering wheel at the bottom right

Open the hood and secure it with the support bar

Unscrew and remove the 3 screws from the grid

Unclip the grid by gently pulling upwards

Unscrew the two screws on each side of the air box with a small Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the air filter from its support

Compare the old and the new air filter (length, width, height)

Insert a rag into the air intake hose

Clean the air box with a blower to remove any impurities present inside

Clean the filter holder

Insert the new filter into its holder, making sure that the filter is properly seated

Remove the rag from the air intake

Take the air filter support and slide it into the air box (check the direction of assembly)

Push the air filter firmly into the box, do not hesitate to use a screwdriver to insert the filter firmly into the air box

Tighten the two screws on each side of the air box with a small Phillips screwdriver.

Replace the access panel

Clip the grid back on then tighten the 3 screws
