After changing my diesel filter I wanted to take the opportunity to change the air filter and I don't understand how to get it through a space smaller than the size of the filter itself? The photo in the tutorial with 15 cm of height between the filter and the bottom of the windshield wasn't taken on a 308 1.6 hdi? I can just get my hand through, not the filter which is twice the height of my hand, and it's the right model. Does anyone have a tip without dismantling half the engine please?
Good morning,
I find this tutorial interesting, as I have the filter changed by a mechanic, the latter, since it is always the same one, goes so far as to remove the windshield wipers and remove the box altogether. Is this correct? ... because later the box was damaged as well as the fixings.. Your opinion please??
Well done and practical tutorial that I would have liked to know the day I changed it the first time: A real pain, never has replacing an air filter been so long and complicated, we can't even see the air box when we open the hood! (Bravo Peugeot!)
Don't forget to reattach the brake fluid reservoir (which you can't see in the video).
Good morning,
Since access is difficult, you may have disconnected something or replaced the fuel filter?
If so, don't forget to bleed the fuel filter.
We remain at your disposal,
Yours sincerely,
the Oscaro team
