Change the air filter on Peugeot 207 phase 2

You wish changed your air filter on 207 phase 2 (after year 2009), this tutorial will help you do it quickly.

Open your hood thanks to the hatch located below the steering wheel on the left side.

Your air filter is located on the left side of the brake fluid reservoir

Once the air filter cover locate, now you can see that there is 3 screws that hold this one.

Use a Torx 25 screwdriver to be able to remove the screws, these remain on the air filter cover support, do not try to remove them by force.

When the 3 screws are unscrewed, you will find on the right side from the cache one small metal clips. You can remove it with your finger by simply sliding it to the right side without forcing.

The clips are therefore removed is on the side to be able to follow the following steps.

You can now lifted up the air box cover to be able to then pull towards you to remove it completely.

The air filter is now visible.

You can now Removed the air filter by lifting it upwards.

Replace le nouveau filtre à air in respecting its meaning while placing the seal on the right side by that one.

For my part, I simply vacuumed the air filter because it is almost new.

You can now replace the air box cover respecting its meaning, press it hard once in place to put it in place properly.

NOW, take the metal clip which is on the right side of the air box Then force it to put it on the air box so that this one is good stuck in its support.

If you have difficulty, help yourself by pressing on the air box during the manipulation.

You can now screw in the 3 screws available on the air box support cover.

With votre Tournevis Torx 25, do not force the screws too much not to damaged the plastic and the screw thread.
