Change the air filter on Peugeot 206 2.0 S16 138cv

locate the air box

I use an AEG box on sale on Oscaro.com

(a flathead screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver will also do the trick)

Loosen the clamp between the air box cover and the intake hose

Use the flat screwdriver

Once the clamp is loose, unhook the intake hose to the right

Locate the 4 screws and loosen them with the Phillips screwdriver

Lift the air box cover to access the filter

I am replacing my filter with one from the MECAFILTER brand, reference ELP 3731

Compare the two filters

I use a vacuum cleaner to clean the inside of the air box.

Place the new filter in its housing

Tighten the four Phillips screws

Re-insert the intake hose into its housing

Tighten the clamp with the flat screwdriver to complete the operation.
