Change the air filter on Mini phase I - 1.6l 90cv

Open the passenger side door

Pull the handle to release the hood

The latch to open the hood is located near the left headlight of the car.

Open the hood

Locate the air box

Unscrew the first screw of the air box using a Torx T25 screwdriver

Unscrew the second screw from the air box

Open the air box

And remove the air filter from the box

Compare the dimensions of the two filters, width, length and thickness

Remove any debris from the air box using a blower or by hand so as not to dirty the new filter.

Place the new air filter in its box

Check that the edges of the filter are properly inserted

Close the air box once the filter is installed

Tighten the two air box screws
