How to easily change the air filter on a Hyundai Tucson

First, open the hood. To do this, pull the hood opening flap located under the steering wheel to the left of the pedals.

Locate the air box. It is on the right. It says "air filter" on it.

Open the air box: To do this, unclip it by gently pulling the cover towards you with your hand.

Once opened, you can see the air filter

To release the air filter, rotate the right locking clip downwards with your finger.

Repeat the operation with the left clip by rotating it downwards with your finger

Remove the old air filter by pulling it towards you.

Compare the old air filter and the new one (length, thickness, etc.)

To avoid making a mistake, place the part of the air filter where the clips are facing you.

Push the air filter to the bottom of the air box

Once the air filter is at the bottom of the air box, rotate the left locking clip upwards with your finger

Repeat the operation with the right clip by rotating it upwards with your finger

To close the air box: Clip the cover back on by gently pushing it with your hand towards the air box
