The air filter is located in its air box
-
Start by disconnecting the breather hose by pressing the yellow tab on the top

Do this while pulling the hose backwards, carefully because the hose becomes fragile with age.

Loosen the sleeve collar using a Phillips screwdriver

Disconnect the air inlet
-

The air box is now free, pull it upwards to remove it from the engine compartment

A butterfly is supposed to be there to hold the air box but this has disappeared over time

There are 5 screws on the air box
-
Loosen the 5 screws using a Phillips screwdriver

-
Remove the air box cover to access the air filter
-
Remove the air filter from its location
-

Compare the dimensions of the new filter with the old one, height, length and width
-
-
-
Replace the air box cover while respecting the location of the screws

Replace the air box in its location

Start by sliding the tab into its guide
