Introduction

In this tutorial we will see how to replace a right rear light of an Audi 80 Avant:

-Access the taillight

-put it down

-install the new light

  1. Broken right rear light
    • Broken right rear light

    • Open the trunk of the car

  2. After opening the trunk, remove the cover on the right. Using the handle. After opening the trunk, remove the cover on the right. Using the handle.

  3. Insert the 8mm socket wrench into the 4 holes and unscrew. 2nd photo: right side 3rd photo left side
    • Insert the 8mm socket wrench into the 4 holes and unscrew.

  4. Once the 4 fasteners (8mm nut) are unscrewed. Turn the support wheel counterclockwise. Remove the support

    • Remove the support

  5. From the outside pull the fire towards you.
    • From the outside pull the fire towards you.

    • Then clean the surface of the seal using a cloth.

  6. Take the new fire out of its packaging Position the tail light on the car
    • Take the new fire out of its packaging

    • Position the tail light on the car

    • Tighten the fasteners using the 8mm socket wrench

    • Reassemble the bulb holder by turning it clockwise to lock it.

    • Reposition the trunk cover

    • Close the trunk

Hello, in the photo we can see that it is an AUDI 80 BREAK, is this part the same as for the AUDI 80 BERLINE?
