Introduction

In this tutorial we will proceed to clean an EGR valve on Clio 2 phase 2 1.5 DCI between 2001 and 2005

  1.
Start by removing the engine cover, then undo the air hose using the clips on and under the hose.

  2.
Using a screwdriver, undo the small iron ring that holds the plug connected to the air box. Once this ring is removed, you can disconnect the plug. Then you will need to undo the collar using a flat screwdriver. You can disconnect the air box and remove it without difficulty.

Good evening, I have a Clio that smokes a lot, however the oil level is correct, no lights on, I was told that it may be my EGR valve, what do you think? Thank you for your response

Hello Bruno goacolou, so you should remove the warning light from the suitcase... if the warning light remains there, you should actually change the part in the case where you change it, also put the car through the suitcase and reprogram the EGR valve and remove the warning light so that the computer knows that the part has been changed and the warning light is erased.

I did everything as in the tutorial but my engine light remains on. . should I put my Clio through the suitcase to clear this light?
