Disconnect the fuel hoses and the sensor by unclipping them

To unclip the sensors, you must lift the small white notch then push the white outline of this notch and pull the hose at the same time. If you do not do both manipulations at the same time, the hose will not come out.

Good evening, I broke the white outline where the small white notch is located on the diesel supply hose. Do you know where I can find a replacement? Kind regards.

How do you push? Down or backward?

The filter may exert resistance to remove it, I used a flat screwdriver to leverage it by sliding it delicately on the sides.

I changed the fuel filter without disconnecting the hood by simply lifting it after removing the torx screws, this prevents the pump from losing its prime.

Vacuuming the bottom I also think that it is cleaner. For the purge, I think you have to see a professional because I don't know how to do it. If anyone has the tip I'm a taker!

How do you proceed to purge water and air?

bertrand noe - Reply

Yes, normally you have to purge the water and air when changing the fuel filter.

Good morning,

Excellent tutorial but:

No bleeding of the filter block using the bleed screw?

What about the possible water in the bottom?

I will take the opportunity to remove 1 cl of diesel from the bottom, always risky to keep a little diesel.
