    • Pull the cover up to access the cartridge

  5. Pull the cartridge to disconnect it from the filter cover Pull the cartridge to disconnect it from the filter cover

  6. Compare the two filters
    • Compare the two filters

  7. Install the new cartridge, taking care to insert the tip into its location. Install the cartridge by inserting it into the cover Install the cartridge by inserting it into the cover

  8. Before reinstalling the new cartridge, empty and clean the fuel filter bowl. Install the new cartridge Screw in the 6 T25 screws using the screwdriver

  9. Reconnect the fuel lines Reconnect the filter connector To re-prime the fuel filter, cycle the ignition 5 to 6 times before starting.

    • Close the hood

Hello This is the power supply for the fuel pump which is used to prime the 12 volt circuit and the sensor for the indicator for the presence of water in the filter. Regards

You also need to remove the aluminum filter jar (easy: 10mm wrench). That way you can clean it properly!
